Chiara specializes in rescue animals who have been through a great deal of stress and trauma offering techniques to best support them. Her horse Miss Saskia was rescued from the feedlot after not performing as a race horse and Saskie taught Chiara a great deal about the animal mind and PTSD. Saskie was a case study for research about PTSD in equines and how to use an integrative approach to support recovery. Chiara has since taken many classes in Trauma to deepen her understanding of current trends and research. She supports you to better understand your animals and deepen your connection with them. Her clients often refer to her work as a beautiful unfoldment, something they have not experienced before. Chiara has developed a proprietary Trauma Accupoint-Transformation and dialogue method. She inspires deep trust and release during sessions. Many animals go into REM sleep during these transformations. Rescuing animals from situations of neglect and abuse is noble. And many wonderful organizations around the world save many animals in great need. However, many of these animals remain stuck in the abuse they suffered and it sits in the tissues of the body. Behavioral techniques can do so much. It's like putting a band aid on a wound that can't heal fully but is enough to cope with living in the human world. Rescue animals have specific needs based on their experiences. Connecting, communicating, sharing and trauma transformation go a long way to support forward movement for rescue animals. It helps them feel understood and move the trauma out of the tissue to live more vital lives.
